Not gonna lie, this is dangerous territory for us. My subconscious is a tripping hazard.

This past weekend was AWESOME.  Not gonna lie, I liked where I was at for my latest book signing. It was a quaint little bookstore and coffee shop, Second Look Books & Brews. I got to meet some pretty cool people and sign a couple of books.

Interestingly enough, I got invited back for another signing event in November.  Having said that, my next book signing is... wait for it.... HERE - at Second Look Books & Brews in Lodi, Ohio!

Two of those really cool people were totally into Sci-Fi - and I loved it.  Like, this person, here.  They are one of the nicest people on the planet - and they had a really great sense of humor about things.

Now, moving on from that. I'd like to talk about something else going on, right now. Yes, I'm talking about my current project.

If you're not familiar with what I'm writing, it's an apocalyptic Sci-Fi Comedy that takes place right now - but, all over the world.

Imagine waking up one morning to the majority of the world’s population missing. But, not just random people - the world leaders, the militaries, and - yes, even all the jocks.

What’s left? Nerds, geeks, gamers, and physics majors.

Now, imagine an alien conglomerate visits the planet and tells us that we’ve been chosen to join an intergalactic allegiance that will help us protect our planet from another oncoming threat so big that it’s the whole reason the allegiance was formed.

The only problem is that there’s now no military, no world leaders, and no more jocks - or anyone who might have had a chance at winning a fight. But, that’s not all. In order to survive the oncoming battle, they need to train to be worthy of a battle by facing… another battle.

Having given the planet technology, medicine, and tactics, the intergalactic allegiance presents an ultimatum that either sees you as a fit adversary to be a part of the allegiance, or whole planet decimation.

Left up to the remaining population of the world, a misfit team of hackers, gamers and nerds host the ultimate epic battle the world has ever seen.

Having said, ALL of that, I was running a contest for some people to be featured in my latest project as a character. Unfortunately, I couldn't choose. Sooooo, I'm happy to announce, those that submitted themselves - are now going to be featured in the new book with a little bit of something extra.

No, I'm not telling you what it is. You'll have to wait just like everyone else (lol).

Regardless. I feel like this will be my best story yet - and I can't wait to be done and to put it into your awesome hands.

Anyway, I look forward to completing my first draft and having my beta readers take a look at it. Speaking of BETA readers....
