I spent way too much time overthinking my "next big idea" until I realized I just needed a spark. So, I built one.

This is a sample of my new newsletter for the followers who may or may not be writers looking for a semi-regular challenge, inspiration, or just someone who likes looking at emails like this.

Essentially, what's going to happen is, if you navigate to my 'Fiction Ignition' page, it will allow you to:

1. create your own writing prompts based on genre
2. sign up for the new mailing list 'Fiction Ignition' to receive three(3) writing prompts weekly in your email so you can either just read them, use them to spark your next story, or challenge your brain muscles to just go out and create your story.

Genre: Mystery & Thriller

Prompt:
"When the town librarian discovers that every book checked out in the past month contains the same handwritten note hidden between pages 47 and 48, she realizes someone is using the library's circulation system to track the movements of specific residents—and she might be next on their list."

Genre: Magical Realism
Prompt:
"Every morning, Maya's grandmother braids memories into her hair—golden threads of first loves, silver strands of childhood summers, and dark knots of family secrets—but today Maya discovers a single electric blue strand that holds a memory that isn't hers."

Genre: Horror
Prompt:
"Every night at 3:17 AM, your grandmother's antique music box plays the same haunting melody from the basement, even though she's been dead for three years and you threw it away after her funeral. Tonight, when the music stops mid-note, you hear her voice calling your childhood nickname from the darkness below."
